Hit the water around 10am to crab the incoming tide. Action was fast to start. Had 4 land lines going and ended up with 29 keepers, not many shorts.  Weird thing was there wasn't many males. Males to female ratio was about 6-1. Ended up throwing back about 15 females that where just over five inches. Kept the ladies over 6.

Nice haul. I noticed if I crab close to saltwater the females are everywhere. When I crab the Hudson. Mostly male crab.

Yes, go farther up river and you should see fewer females.
