On a "will it catch" youtube short, commercial crabber Luke McFadden used jellyfish in a pot and it caught three times as many crabs as his control trap baited with shrimp heads. Surprisingly the jellyfish held up well in the trap.

Will definitely add it to the list of things I find hard to imagine.  Seems we could test this locally.

I used this bait in my crab pots that my cousin Vinnie used to give me.  It came in 5 gallon buckets.  Caught like crazy.  Little did I know my cousin Vinnie was a hit man. Shocked
