Probably the last run of the year, but it was a good one! crabbed the incoming tide with 1000 feet of line baited with necks, still can't get clams, we were just south of the Smyrna river in the Delaware bay behind the pilings.  first three hours were slow with barely a half bushel, then it was like a switch turned on and we filled up to one and three quarter bushels in less than two hours!  I have never seen so many crabs on so many necks in one run.  Only down side to the whole catch was that many were light, but still, it was an amazing day.

Amazing catch, Mooniac!  Thank you for posting, for sure.  Next year, I will keep a boat up north and hopefully do half as well.  Love those DE Bay crabs.
