another hurricane coming crabbers down here are wearing the ropes out on the traps having to pull so many times for storms

Not sure where ya at but the storms have been good news for the commercial fishing industry here.  Lake Pontchartrain's salinity levels changes with the water levels.  Currently the salinity levels have been high due to the high tides from the storms.  These high tides not only bring in salt water from the gulf but also shrimp, crabs, and the fish follow the bait.  Great year for the shrimp trawlers and crabbers.  No problem finding fish either.
