So I got a call from a friend to go seabass fishing Thursday. He has a friend with a 58ft viking and wanted to fish Saturday! Only thing we need to bring is food and drinks. We also need to clean the boat after we are done fishing and the trip is free! 11 of us on the boat and we head out at 6am. Super foggy but the boat as all the electronics you need to get out. 2 hour ride out and and its on from the start! Every cast was hit as soon as we hit bottom. 80% of the time I had a keeper or 2 keepers. A lot of nice seabass. Also caught 2 small porgy and a short flounder.  We had a boat limit of 165 seabass by 11am. Cleaned most of the fish on the way back and then cleaned the rest at the dock. Weather was amazing and calm water. It was foggy all day until we where headed back. 3 separate coolers all full.

that's awesome.  in NJ we are limited to 10 this time of year per person.  Even then when I went out on a charter we hit mostly undersized and maybe 5% had a keeper.   My girl caught a lot of porgies though....Obviously I was on the wrong boat.   Roll Eyes laugh
