This is a late report.  Videos take so much time to make (6-to 10 hours) in between work and home responsibilities, but here it is:

I planned to crab since the crabs are moving deeper and away from the shallower rivers.  Soon it will be time to pack up my crabbing gear until next season.  On this trip I would crab deeper waters and end up with a hard fought bushel.  At this time of the year the crabs are BIG and there meat is sweet.

Thanks for the video! I love that you show some of the details of the process you use. Hope you can get out one last time this year.

Cool! Your videos on YouTube are some of the ones that have inspired me to try trotlining fit crabs from my canoe, and ultimately led me to this site. It's kinda cool to see that you are also a member!

I'm gearing up now for the next upcoming season to try.

Thanks everyone.  I am glad that you like my videos.  As for canoes, I first started trot lining from a canoe, before I adapted all of my techniques to the kayak.
