Wye 11/05 Report

Date: 11/05 Thursday
Time: 7:30 - 2:00
Launch: Wye Boat Ramps
Weather: Fantastic
Gear: 25 traps

Crabbed Shaw Bay on outgoing tide. Depths of 12'-18' netted 0 crabs on probably 100 pulls. Depths of 7'-10' netted 15 full keepers, a lot of females and smalls. Crabbed the mouth of the Wye during the first hour of incoming tide and noticed more jimmies of size. However I had to wrap up due to family obligations. I fished mid day at the mouth for two hours all depths not a bite. Looking forward to next season. Thanks to all for the reports. They certainly helped me out this season. Picture of two future crabbers.
