You know I'm feeling better if I'm fishing.  Played golf Monday and went fishing Tuesday with my friend Nickey.

44 specs
14 bass

Weather today and yesterday was in the mid 70's.  Downhill tomorrow for the next week.  I'll wait till the weather warms up again before my next trip.

Super nice Ronnie.

Glad you and Linda are feeling better.

I'll put it to you like this.  A couple of years back I cooked some bass for Cajun Night.  One of the guys said he never kept bass always threw them back.  Well he ate some and swore he had thrown back (released) the last bass.

Like anything else, if you know how to cook them (right seasoning, texture)  they will be great.

Small-mouth are the best ! We used to keep all keeper Smallies
when ICE FISHING , they are better eating than the LARGE - Mouth
   Bass , IMHO  ?

Totally agree that the smallies are better than the largemouth. I still prefer a good fat whiteperch over most fish that I catch locally. Although Ronnie's redfish are mighty tasty. I just need to stick around the grill at the party so I'm able to get some. Maybe I just need to come down to Kenner and catch some there for myself!

That's because you're only out there for the Coors Light. And they only bite in the dead of winter.......at least according to the commercials. LOL.
