Anyone ever tried this Pier in Verplanck Point, New York?

Saw a video a few years ago of a couple pulling traps there, but haven't heard anything else. Wanted to know if this is a good, legal spot? It's on the Hudson directly across the river from Stoney Point. On google maps it's called the Steam Boat Dock
