I went back to the same place Saturday April 10th and caught some more. All ring nets and traps with clams, some chicken and the last of 1 bunker. Early on I caught a few in the deep water like the previous week, but not many were keepers. The crabs are on the move a bit and most were caught in the 13-17' range, some deeper and some shallower. I did not catch anything in less than 10'. More throwbacks this week and more females. Water temps exceeded 63 degrees! All of them were super sweet and full, just a couple of light weights.

Thinking about dropping the line this weekend with chicken.

Very nice looking crabs. I'll be fishing tomorrow on the Wye and either Manokin or Big Ann. Then crabbing down that way Thursday.

With the cold weather we have been having the water Temps have dropped. I'm going to try and get out Saturday. Only have 27 nets made but might take 3 topless traps as well.

 Didn't get into many big ones in the Wye. The spawn is on, but the majority of the ones I caught were about 8 inches. Brought home 32 from there and some pretty nice ones from further south in the Manokin. Caught 30 keepers there . About 12 that were 10 and over.
