Silly question, if crabbing from a boat with a Rec crab license. is the limit still 1 Bushel or is it 2 because under 16 doesn't need a license? I doubt we will ever catch more than a bushel when we are out. Just wondering if anyone has looked into this.

Only 1 bushel. To get 2 the second person must have a rec crab license no matter the age.

As stated above need the second license to get the second bushel.  That said, they don't have an age restriction on the license, I get one for my son who is only 11 and gets me the second bushel.  The license is cheap enough so, for me, it's not a big deal.

Thank you. This will be my first year with a boat. No more pier crabbing for us.

Takes one to know one.

I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one getting 2 licenses, Mr. 120 crabs per trip.  Wink
